Nathan was finally able to finish the landscaping wall that he started back in May. He didn't want his picture taken, but I thought he needed the memory of placing the last block. Now next summer we can get it filled with dirt and lots of nice plants/flowers. For not really knowing what he was doing it turned out really nice!!!

1 Week and Counting
Well the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to get really bright!!!!!! Finally!!! Sutton has continued to do well during the day, night time not so well, but hopefully we will get sleep soon. He surprised us last Saturday when he rolled over twice. He no longer stays put. The instant he is put on the floor he is gone. We have a bet going to see how long it takes him to get moving once the cast comes off.

2 Weeks and Counting
It almost seems impossible that we only have 2 weeks left!!!! We are both getting pretty excited and wondering if we will recognize him without the cast. Sutton continues to be a trooper and has done well except for the fever/cold/virus that Leland decided to share with him. Leland came down with the wonderful stuff on Sunday and Sutton came down with it on Monday. Both of the boys are still trying to recover. Hopefully this won't be a long winter, especially considering this is only September!!!!!!

4 Weeks and Counting
Sutton went back for his 2 week check-up for his new cast today. Everything continues to be in the correct position. The best news of the appointment was that the cast will be coming off exactly one week from today and we won't have to go back until then!!! Sutton has figured out that when he is on his stomach on the floor that he can push back with his arms to move around. I think he is also really looking forward to a "real" bath. Everytime I clean him up now he insist on putting his hands in the water!!
Back To The Grind
I officially started work on August 26th and the boys officially started back to day care on September 2nd. The transition hasn't gone too bad, but boy do I miss being at home with them. Sutton has decided to fast while I am at work. Lynne even has a hard time getting him to eat his cereal, hopefully this doesn't last long. Leland is happy to be back. Lynne said he hasn't missed a beat!!
