Jamming It Out

Sutton got this guitar for Christmas and surprisingly enough still plays with it quite a bit.  On occasion he will also take it to day care with him, Tami's husband plays guitar so they play together.  Who knows maybe he will be a famous musician someday!!

Carnival Time

The PTO from Leland's school has been raising money for new playground equipment.  One way they raised funds was by hosting a carnival.  The evening was filled with junk food and fun!!  The kids enjoyed all the activities.  Leland thought the pop toss was the best by far and was determined to play until he won a bottle of pop.  Sutton enjoyed the bounce house and the pop toss was a close second!!

Happy Birthday Winston

It is hard to believe, but Winston turned 11 in March.  The kids always think it is fun to give him a present to open.  They usually end up opening most of it for him due to excitement.

Sledding Taken To A New Level

Sutton being the risk taker that he is was the first to try standing on his sled.  Of course Leland followed close behind.  They were actually getting almost all the way to the bottom of the hill still standing!!

Eating A Rainbow

A friend of mine invited us to a kids cooking class.  The theme for the class was eating a variety of colors.  The boys enjoyed making fruit kabobs and a salad with lots of colorful veggies.  Of course they would eat the fruit, but were not so willing to eat the veggies.

Meet Maggie

We didn't have good snowman (or in this case snow woman) making snow until late in the season.  When asked what we should name it, Leland responded "Maggie".  So Maggie it was!!

Snow Catchers

It seems weird to still be posting pictures with snow since it has been so long since we have had any, but I am still trying to play catch up with my posts!!

When Dad Is In Charge

One evening when returing home from a PTO meeting I was informed that I should look at some pictures on the camera and you can see what I found.

Out Takes

Just to show that Sutton's photo shoot was not all smiles I thought I would share a couple of not so cute shots!!

4 Year Photo Shoot

Nate finally let me get a "real" camera with the idea that I would start taking the yearly pictures of the boys instead of using a photographer.  When Sutton turned 4 I had my first attempt.  I have to say I thought it was going to be easy, but I quickly learned that it was going to be more work than I prepared for.  Sutton needed lots of coaxing to participate!!  Considering this was my first attempt and I only have the basic lens that came with the camera I was able to capture some cute shots.

Building Racers

Awhile back Nate took the boys to a slot car racing track.  Of course they loved it.  We have only been back one time since then, but they often ask when they will be able to go back!!  Don't you just love the excitment on their faces!!!
