A Forgotten Christmas Post

I forgot about posting these pictures!!!  I have not sent a Christmas card for the last few years, but still make sure we get some family pics in front of the tree.

Want To Adopt A New Pet?

Over Christmas Vacation the boys and I did not venture out much, but we did take one short road trip.  A zoological society opened recently so we decided to check it out.  We were able to see some really neat animals, including a chameleon.  Sutton did not like the parrots.  They were very loud and you could hear them no matter where you went in the building.  Of course Leland was into checking out the tortoise poop, even asking me to take a picture so we could show Nate when we got home.  The kids also thought it was neat because they had some kind of lizard and had named it Winston.

Bowling In The New Year

One of Nate's buddies from Technique recently bought a bowling alley down in Ohio.  For New Years he and his wife had a party to celebrate the New Year and their new journey as bowling alley owners.  We all had a good time and Nate enjoyed seeing some of the guys he used to work with.

Christams Again and Again

Shortly after my dad and Kathy left we ventured to Pam and Al's house.  Nate made prime rib and we had all the fixings to go with it.  We again enjoyed more gift exchanging.  Sutton finally got the chain saw that he asked for last year.  The boys were surprised to learn they got a go-kart.  Nate needs to get some more parts and then they will build the go-kart together, they are excited!!

Christmas Again

After we opened presents with the boys my dad and Kathy came over.  We had a tasty breakfast and enjoyed opening some more presents.  We also took some time to skype with my brother and his family since they did not make it back to Michigan for Christmas.

Santa Was Here!!

The boys woke with excitment on Christmas morning!!  Neither of them could wait to start ripping into presents.  Winston even got in on the action, even with his age opening presents is still one of his favorite things to do!!

The Real Reason

After the festivities at my uncles house we headed to church.  Each year our church holds a candle light/communion Christmas Eve service.  It is always a nice reminder of why we celebrate Christmas!!  Once back home the boys were allowed to open one present, which of course contained their Christmas pjs.
