We have had more snow days than I care to keep track of this year (only because I have to make all of them up!!, well so do the boys). We have had plenty of snow to play in, although the temps have not always been warm enough to be able to enjoy the snow. We have been able to get in plenty of sledding, snow ice cream eating, snow angel making, snow fort building, snow man making, and ceramic painting!! As of right now the kids won't be done with school until June 18th, so we are actually hoping for no more snow days!!

Hitting The Trails In Cadillac
Before kids Nathan and I always used to go snowmobiling between Christmas and New Years. We were very excited to be able to do that again this year!! The kids were equally excited because they got to go also!! As in the past, we went with my Aunt Kyle, Uncle Tim, and James. When we arrived at our cabin James had decided to sleep in the basement until we discovered mouse poodeepoo on the towels next to the bed on a table!! The boys were all over this!! This was live action mouse hunting time. They decided if we couldn't find the mice that we should call Turtle Man to help us out. Needless to say we did not see any mice and James ended up sleeping on the couch. Poor James was woke up the first morning by Sutton in his face saying "So, James what do you want to do today"? Our first night we had enough time to ride to dinner. After we ate my sled did not want to start. When it finally did we headed to get gas and discovered that in the short distance from our cabin to dinner my sled had burned nearly an entire tank of gas. At this point it did not want to start again so we pulled it over to the side. The kids and I then headed to the McDonalds that was next door and waited for Nathan to ride back and get the truck and trailer. Well 2 and 1/2 hours later he arrived, they had missed a turn on the way back!! Nathan spent the next day chasing parts with no luck. While Nate chased parts the kids did a little sledding. Late that day we decided to rent a sled so we could still ride. So the first two days we basically rode to dinner and back to the cabin, but the boys did not mind. The last full day we were there we were able to spend the day riding. Leland had a great time riding with James, the faster the better you know!! The boys were also highly entertained by Uncle Tim, you just never know what you will get with him!!
