Sutton gets the award for the first natural tooth loss. The whole thing happened much quicker than I remember losing any of my teeth, just a matter of days. I kept teasing Sutton that I was going to take him to Grandma Eltings so she could pull it. She always pulled my teeth by tying dental floss around them and yanking them out. He did not want any part of this and each day he would work on wiggling it. We happened to be home for a snow day and Sutton came to me with the tooth in his hand!

Happy Birthday Daryl
You would think getting a picture of a grown man would be an easy job, but not with Daryl!! He is as bad as the kids with keeping his eyes open!!
Hitting The Hard Wood
The boys decided to try basketball for the first time. It was a short season (only 5 games), but good season. They enjoyed it and they both made noticeable improvements!!

Get Your Motors Running
This year Sutton decided he wanted a snowmobile themed birthday party. I thought this will be fun and I should be able to find lots of snowmobile items since it is winter in Michigan. Boy was I wrong!! I searched every local Wal-Mart, Meijer, K-Mart, and Target looking for snowmobile toys. I landed 1 matchbox snowmobile after looking through what seemed like hundreds. Thank goodness for the internet. I was able to find some lego snowmobiles and micro machine snowmobiles. I never was able to find a snowmobile pinata though, but he was content with a number 6. Then it was on to game planning. This ended up being harder than I thought also. I searched Pinterest and did not find one single game, so I had to be creative especially not know what the weather was going to do!! All said and done everything turned out well and all the kids had a great time!!
Sketter Turns 6!!
Sutton celebrated his sixth birthday back in January. As has become tradition we let him pick where he wanted to go for his birthday dinner. This year he chose Outback because they have the best ribs you know!! We enjoyed a tasty dinner and cake from Maggie Moo's.
Mission Accomplished
Nate searched high and low for a Ski-Doo mini z for the kids and finally the search ended when he found this rev edition on Craigs List!! The boys were of course thrilled and thankfully we have had a winter that has allowed them to get plenty of riding time in!
