Dog Days Of Summer

We have spent our summer enjoying our new puppa!!  He continues to be a great dog.  For the most part he is very mellow.  He is definitely a water dog, when at the lake you can't keep him out!!  The crazy dog thinks he should get into any large appliance if the door is open.  The boys are hoping to do some pheasant hunting with him, so we will see how that goes.

No More Kindergarten and No More Second Grade

The last day of school felt as if it would never arrive.  The kids could hardly wait for summer to start.  The last day was filled with excitement and anticipation for a great summer.  Sutton had a fun time with his summer send off celebration.  I don't think that had anything to do with all the sugar he had!!  As usual this was a bitter sweet day for me!!  Love watching them grow, but miss the things they used to do!!

Ribbit, Hiss, Slither, and Jump

Sutton's end of the school year field trip landed us with the reptiles!!  Even though we have visited this destination a couple other times Sutton still had a good time.  What boy doesn't enjoy touching creepy crawly critters!

Back In The Day

Leland's end of the year field trip landed us back in pioneer time.  Of course Leland thought this was very cool. He got to experience the one room school house, churning butter, living in a log cabin, and checking out the house of a wealthy pioneer family.  Leland said he enjoyed the wood working shop the most.
