Cowboys and SWAT Members

The Halloween costume selection was a drawn out process as usual.  I think they get so excited and want to be so many things that they just can't make a decision until it comes down to the wire.  The good news is I think we have Leland's costume already set for next year!

Coming To Life

The kids always look forward to pumpkin carving time and this year was no exception.  They are beginning to be able to do a little of the carving on their own!

A Hunting We Will Go

Leland continues to be a hunting fool.  Any chance he gets to go he is all in!!  We are thankful to have John as a mentor for him!!  This hunting trip was a family affair and I tagged along to capture some pictures.  This was a pheasant hunting trip, unfortunately this day we did not end up seeing any birds.  We were a little nervous about taking Winchester along since he is still so young, but John assured us he would follow Jackson his dog and would just know what to do.  John was right Winchester followed Jackson right along combing the fields!

Forgotten pictures

Soccer and football pictures are mixed in with lots of other pictures on my camera, so I came across these after making my original sports posts, so just adding some more!

Pumpkin picking fun

As is becoming a tradition we traveled to the same pumpkin patch as last year.  Sutton again loved playing in the corn wagon, poor Leland was to old!!

Another Tooth Bites The Fairy Dust

Leland lost another tooth!  This one came out at school, thankfully.  He does not really enjoy loosing his teeth.

And The Lucky Teachers Are........

Wow, I am so far behind with my posts!!!!!!!  Here I am finally posting about the first day of school
when we only have 36 days left of the 2014-2015 school year!!  Oh well, I guess better late then never.  Leland ended up with the teacher he was hoping for Mrs. Hunt.  Sutton did not end up with the teacher we thought he would.  The teacher he was slated to have ended up accepting a position with another district about 2 weeks before school started.  That left me a little panicked, however he ended up with an absolutely wonderful teacher, Ms. Kasper.
