Christmas as usual was a fun and busy time of year for us. Enjoyed spending time with family and friends. There was plenty of good food to eat! We always enjoy making and eating our Christmas cookies. One of the best parts is licking the bowls and spatulas!!! Our elf returned this year and found plenty of mischief. The kids enjoyed ripping through presents on Christmas morning.

Oh Christmas Tree
As we have done for several years now we again travelled to our favorite Christmas tree farm to get our tree. It never gets old to take a horse drawn wagon ride to the field to cut our tree. This tree farm is where we learned about the breeder we got our dog from. The older gentleman is the owner of the tree farm and his chessie Trip.
Thankful
This year we started a new Thanksgiving tradition, a tree of thanks. The kids helped find the perfect branch from the woods for our tree. Each night each of us wrote on a paper leaf something that we were thankful for. I wasn't sure how interested the kids would be in doing this, but they really seemed to have fun with it. They also came up with some things that surprised me!!
Is It A Turkey..... No It's Sutton Man
Sutton had a fun project at school this year for Thanksgiving. They had to dress a turkey in disguise so that it would not be eaten. Since Sutton loves being at the beach we decided to dress his as a beach bum!!
