Pam's brother and his family came for their annual summer trip to Michigan a few days before we left for up north so we were able to spend a portion of a couple days with them. The first time we got together the kids spent time fishing at Pam and Al's. The second time we got together Steve, Geryl, and Katy came our way and we spent time at our lake. The boys always love seeing Katy!!

What We Do
We have had a great summer with some boating and tubing fun. The boys like to be brave every now and then and get up on their knees and no hold on. This doesn't usually last too long!
Lee's Turn!
Another tooth lost!! This time it was Lee's turn. I surprised him this time!! We were brushing his teeth getting ready for bed one night and I must have pushed just right and it fell right out!
A Boy, A Boat, And His Dog
We got this paddle boat for the boys this summer and it has gotten plenty of use!! Chester has even joined in on the fun. He enjoys taking rides with his bud, Leland.

Getting Back To Nature
The boys and I ventured to a half way nearby nature center recently. The center rescues animals that have either been hurt or are to close to humans to be released into the wild. We were able to see a wide variety of different birds, deer, coyotes, beaver, opossum, and fox.
Swimming Pool Style
The boys wanted to swim somewhere different than the lake so we ventured to a local pool for a few hours with some old friends. The kids enjoyed the climbing wall and slides the best.
Can You Stick A Sharp Object Through A Balloon Without Popping It?
We can!! We discovered that a balloon is made of springy molecules allowing them to move out around an object. Once the object is in the molecules close up around it.

Travel Ball 2015
Both the boys were able to play on the travel machine pitch team this summer. We only played in 3 tournaments, but won 2 of them!! Nate was the coach for this team as well with help from 2 other dads. A couple of highlights from the season: Leland earned the nickname "Hollywood" from the head of their league because he never sees him without his sunglasses. Sutton was having a terrible time batting at the Morenci tournament until Papa promised him a dollar for every ball he hit!
