Way Way Up North

In August 2017 we went on a camping trip with some friends to the U.P.  James, my cousin was nice enough to let us use his camper.  We stayed at a campground across the street from Lake Superior.  There was plenty of bike riding, can jam, and great food.  We ventured out to see White Fish Point, Tahquamenon Falls, and Pictured Rocks.  We had planned to kayak out to Pictured Rocks, but the weather was showing a bad storm approaching.  We ended up taking a boat ride and we were glad we did.  Just as we were turning around to head back to shore the sky turned black and it poured!!  The only other disappointment happened in the parking lot of the falls.  I needed to tie my shoes so I set my camera on the tool box in the bed of Nate's truck.  He did not see the camera and decided to open the tool box up.  My camera went flying and would then no longer take pictures!!  Thank goodness for cell phones with a decent camera!  This was by far one of our favorite trips!
