Wrapping Up Berlin And Destination Munchen

Our last day in Berlin was spent visiting the German Parliament.  Berlin is like our Washington DC.  We saw where the chancellor  (president) does all her daily work.  We then toured the parliament where they have made a glass dome you can go inside of.  It is pretty tall so you can see most of the city from the top.  We then headed to the Brandenburger Tor.  This is the landmark Germany is most know for.  It was then time for a Berlin created lunch, currywurst.  This is basically kielbasa cut up with a sauce on top.  Nate was not a fan!  The guys then went to pick up our rental cars and we visited the Jewish memorial.  After being picked up by the guys we went back to our hotel rounded up our luggage and headed to Munchen.  Nate was excited at his chance for a cruise on the Autobahn, I have to say I was a bit nervous!  We reached top cruising speeds of 208 km.  This was almost a 6 hour car ride so we stopped in Nurnberg for dinner.  Once in Nurnberg we were officially in Bavaria.   This is the area of southern Germany.  We ate a typical Bavarian dinner, lots of sausage and pretzels and of course more eis (ice cream) for dessert. Once in Munchen it was time for bed.  Another great day filled with lots of fun and laughs!
